Mrs Giggleberry

There is a book Ella has about Mrs Giggleberry. In the book the mom dresses up in things around the house such as a lamp shade for a hat, a tablecloth for a skirt etc to have tea with her daughter... Ella likes this book and thinks its pretty great that the mom disguises herself in home decor so the little girl doesn't know its her mom having tea with her. Even though we have perfectly wonderful dress up dresses she feels it is necessary that we improvise with our home accessories. Here she is singing "Go Tell it on the Mountain" with her lampshade hat and lamp base as a microphone. She's creative. She will be singing that song and more in her class play on Dec. 18th at 11am for anyone who wants to make the journey to Texas - MOM...

We went back to the Y today since they reopened after some renovation. The kids had fun and were so exhausted that all 3 were sound asleep by 6.30. So I am off to the grocery store. Its my big night out!

Ella is so creative. That Mrs Gigglebery was one of the books we brought last time we came to visit. Glad to know that she likes it! We sure would love to be there to see her in the concert. Make sure you take lots of pictures.

For a three year old (and I'm not biased a bit) she is amazing. Can you believe what she can come up with??? She is such a special girl to Grandma!!!!
