Another regular Day

Today we went with Erin, Alexia, Jennifer and E. Tooley to MOPS. http://www.mops.org/. It stands for mothers of preschoolers. They play with the kids and you get some grown up time and its ironic because the purpose of it is to give us moms a break. However the whole time all we do is ramble on about our kids. Funny.

Well as we were leaving for MOPS I ran back in the house to grab my new camera (which is actually a task in itself since our garage door broke. But Bob Vila himself (my dad) will be here tomorrow so of course I am not concerned since it will get fixed. Anyways grabbed the camera. There was a funny moment of us doing this relay and Erin says Lynnette take a pic. So I am taking pictures so proud of myself for being prepared ONLY TO FIND OUT that I left the memory card in my computer... Hmmmm looks like my multi tasking ability is slipping if this keeps up John and I will be equals. Ha Ha lover boy.

So after a very long nap for the boys we went to the Y where I was paged - Jack fell and has a goose egg on his forehead. Very attractive!
As we were leaving the Y Ella asked what we were having for dinner so I told her Tacos, which they love. She proceeds to throw a 3 year old fit and tell me that she doesn't want tacos she wants chicken to which I say OK no problem we can have chicken. With all seriousness and tears streaming down her face she tells me NO MOMMY I don't want your chicken I want the chicken from Home Depot. Well I had to laugh. For you who aren't familiar with the area KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) is located beside Home Depot.

So we went home, ate dinner - Tacos not KFC and had a bath. I took a video of them just before bed. Enjoy!

Christopher has a great laugh. I bet you can't help it but laugh too.

A little tune for you

After school on Tuesdays I pick Ella and her friend Sarah up. Today they decided to sing a song for me - as you can see there was some confusion as to what song they we performing.

Picture Day

It is picture day at school today so we got up and after only a few tears Ella was excited to get dressed, mostly because of the promise for lipstick and hairspray.

So here the little one is with eye shadow, lipstick and lots of hairspray (since she helped).
It's appropriate that its picture day since today I got a new camera. The canon SD750 for my birthday. Thank you mom and dad. Its awesome. I can now put some more video clips on the blog. So a gift for me and you too...

Prayer

Ella was praying and it was funny, goes something like this:
Dear Jesus please help Christopher to not be allergic anymore, help Tyler to stop yelling and Dylan to be nice to me. Please help Ella to be brave enough to eat tomatoes. Amen.

Day of Play

Today was our day of Play. This morning Tyler came over and Ella, Tyler and I had a tea party and we made a fort which you can see them in.

Jack is playing peek a boo
This dog is Jacks favorite thing in the world. Hopefully we don't lose it since he sleeps with it and its his comfort.
Then after a brief lunch break the play day continued. Katrina or AKA MCtrina came to play. Ella had fun having another little girl in the house. A lot quieter. Well with one exception. Katrina bit Christopher so he did make a lot of noise. Briefly though.

Christopher and Ella thought it was fun to put pots on their heads. The boys want to copy everything she does. She of course loves this attention. Also you might be able to see Christopher is getting lots of hair.
The next picture is compliments of Jack. I had to go to the bathroom and when I lifted the toilet seat - there was noahs ark floating around. Jack has obviously been very attentive at church and knew they needed some rain... Luckily I saw them first!

Well the days only half done so stay tuned!

Kids Causing Havoc... Lots of FUN

Sunday is a great day. I love Sundays. Today at church, Lee Strobel the author of the Case for Christ was there - very interesting. Check him out at http://www.leestrobel.com/
Then we went to Ella's favprite eatery TACO CABANA. Not fine cuisine by any stretch, however all the kids sit and eat - So it works.

Ella decided after the boys nap that they needed a snack. Unfortunately they didn't snack much....
Here are some more pictures of the kids playing.

Jack thinks its funny to wrestle his brother. Christopher normally agrees. Not today!

And here is a cute one of Ella - dancing of course. Our little DIVA
Johns back to Chicago - so the house is feeling kind of blue. We miss him lots and now that Ella understands he's away she asks me everyday when he's coming home... Good thing Grandma Ruthie Baby is coming to the rescue. She is so excited that Sam is coming home and hoping that Sam might sleep in her bed. We'll see!

Party Time in Ella's room.

Everyday we have a dance party in Ella's room

as soon as the boys hear the music they start laughing

and get into her room as soon as possible.

Let the party begin!

Just the girls

Today I got to sleep in. YEAH. John and I were painting the house late last night so he let me sleep in while he got the kids breakfast. Ella requested today that Daddy stay home and watch the boys so JUST THE GIRLS could go out. We went to the library where we read books - lots and lots of books, we checked out 12 books, 3 DVDs and 2 music CDs. There would have been more but my hands were full.

Payback was nice for John since I took her during the boys naptime and so he also had a snooze.

Anyways I have a photo of a bird Ella drew. We think its great. Obviously shes very smart!!! And she wrote her name as well. I'm the mom so I have bragging rights.

Johns Home

Thank God for husbands, especially mine...
After 10 years he looks better to me everyday - maybe its the fact that he will take the kids so I can have a shower.

The Cats away so the mice are playing

John is in Chicago so I have been keeping busy since life isn't nearly as great without him. Yesterday we went to Erins to celebrate her 32nd birthday. Christopher thought the pool was so awesome that we both ended up in it fully clothed... He had a great time - not so much for me!!! But if I am going to be wonder woman than I have to save the day at some point.

Today I took the kids to Beyond Bounce with Shelley, Luke and Logan. All in all it was a fun time and soon John will be back. Ella wants him to take her to the library and mommy can stay home and protect the boys.
