I can't believe how time flies. When I was pregnant older people would say to me enjoy this time because it goes so fast. I would smile politely and think really? It felt like she would never be born and then it didn't seem that fast when she is waking up 5 times a night or crying unconsolably... Well they were older and wiser and right. Time has flown by. It has been the most wonderful experience. She is so kind and sweet and fun and I love every bit of her so much. She was so excited to turn 5. We told her that it was magic she would go to bed 4 and magically in the morning be 5. She thought that was awesome. She is also pretty excited because she has heard that lots of kids loose their first tooth at 5. I put together a little video of her actual day. We went to build a bear and lunch. We also had Jennifers going away lunch. The boys and her are having a pump it up party next week. Fun times!

WELCOME HOME CHRISTOPHER
Ella was so excited that we were coming home tonight so she decorated for Christopher... I said I am so glad to be home and she said, I am so glad to have my brother back. She is so kind and loves him so much.
Here are some more pictures of her lovely decorating. Jack quickly learned how to pop the balloons by laying on them so they did not last long.
Its so great to have him home. Thank you to everyone who offered to help and called or emailed. He is doing great. His oxygen level was low this morning but it slowly increased today and even though it wasn't perfect the Dr. decided to let him go and just follow up. The nurse came in and said he was their best patient and told him he got to go home. He says to her "yes I am done with this hospital". It was cute. I told him if he wanted some Mommy and me time we don't have to go to the hospital there are plenty of fun places to be, how about Chuck e cheese next time.

WHEN IT RAINS IT POURS
It rained in Texas today literally and figuratively... Christopher and I are enjoying another stay at the hospital because on friday afternoon he went into respiratory distress... Essentially the poor sugar couldn't breathe very well. He is on oxygen now and they are giving him all the medicine to fix him up... I am watching him sleep and he is just the sweetest thing. We were hoping to be home today but maybe tomorrow. His saturation level is still to low so I am like breathe baby breathe so we can go home. Keep your fingers crossed and the prayers coming! I am off to learn more about Asthma. Oh by the way interesting thing, the dr. came in with his scans and said just for fun information, it means nothing clinically his first and second ribs are fused together. Hmmm. I guess if he ever breaks one he will really break two!

SAM
For those of you who are going through my daily dramas lately. The latest update is Sam. He is home from his surgery and they removed his BIG stone. It was so big, i felt so sorry for our baby... He must have been miserable. However as many of you know by now, he has cancer. It is just awful for us. We won't know the full extent till next monday but obviously its very discouraging for us since we were trying to do everything to make him better. It depends on the exact type but he will hopefully have a couple more good months. Sometimes I hate being an adult having to make difficult and heartbreaking decisions. However, tonight we are just happy he's home. Ella made him a picture and the house just felt so weird without him. He's getting lots of attention and snuggles!
