Summer Vacation
We must be nuts because every year we get in the car and do our road trip from Texas to Canada and its a hike. Its so fun though and worth it. This year we met our friends in Niagara Falls and had some fun on Clifton Hill! More summer photos to come.

Great News
Today we had a celebratory day! Its the boys birthday eve, so already it was cause for celebration. Christopher had his allergy testing today and I was hoping and praying really hard that he would have outgrown his milk allergy. It wasn't fun to have him tested but so worth the result. NEGATIVE. Yes we are thrilled that he can have milk products. John asked Christopher how his appointment went, he said Daddy, they put holes in my back and drained the allergies. Its funny what their impression is. Jack was not happy with the doctor. When they put the first 8 allergens in Christopher was fine, but by 24 he was wimpering and by 48 he was crying and rightfully so, its scary and it hurts. Well Jack kept saying Stop doing that, he doesn't like it, don't put them on his back he doesn't like it and on and on he went. Its hard to watch your kids suffer knowing that it won't be long and the result is necessary. The funny thing was though, while we were waiting for the results a man got up from the waiting room and Jack says to him in his loud gruff voice, ARE YOU GOING POTTY?
Well we celebrated in style with our friends, pizza, icrecream, cupcakes and a water park party.
Now for tomorrows big day!!! They are 4 years old. I am so excited for them especially since I know what they are getting.....

Graduate
This was the last day of school and this year was a big one for us. Our first born and only daughter went to kindergarten. When she started the year I think I cried everyday for a week because if you know me I don't want them to go to school everyday. Its too much! I want them to stay home, time is going too fast. So at gradutation a mom said to me, "I'm surprised you're not crying." Of course I am not crying, I get her back for 12 weeks.... YAHOO! Well Ella has not only stopped crying about going to school (we bribe her with icecream) she thrived. She did so well and really had a great year.
A little graduation present from Grandma Ruth had them rolling in laughter!
We were so proud and if you could see her graduation video you would hear how loud we were. One parent said in her class the quietest girl had the loudest parents... Yep we were a bit obnoxious!Ella loved her teacher and thought she was sooooo nice!
I am so in love with this little girl as most parents are with their kids, but I have to say she is so perfectly sweet and kind and wonderful and graceful. This week we have been spring cleaning and I told the kids they had to put 5 of their toys into 3 different piles. One that they absolutely could not live without, one they liked and one they could give away. We then would go through and keep the cannot give away pile. Ella being full of sugar, looked at me so sincerely and said Mommy, you and daddy, Christopher, Jack and Belle are in my 1st pile. Thats 5 things... OK let me just tell you she can have anything she wants...Her little buddies, her best friend Caroline and her latin lover Conrad!

Happy Birthday Ella
All Ella wanted for her birthday was breakfast in bed... Done such a great and easy request. Christopher and Jack woke up early and helped me get her cheerios ready. I don't know who was more excited, Ella, me or the boys. We had to wake John up for the event but he thought it was great because they always bring me breakfast in bed on my birthday and mothers day. Its a fun family tradition to pass on.
Cassie and Jason gave the kids a tent for their birthday so we set it up and let them play. They packed the tent full of toys and wanted to spend the night but its just too hot so maybe in the fall! or summer in Canada!
