ALOHA

Ella had her Aloha musical today at school and we were all excited to see her perform. I had no idea what they would be singing because everytime I asked she said "I don't know Mommy" so it was a total surprise for us. A surprise for her was that John came... Yeah. Even though he is crazy busy with 5 projects on the go he went to work early drove back to see her and then went back downtown. What a great guy! We told her that she was going to have a special guest - I didn't want to set her up for heartbreak. Turns out she totally lucked out with special guests all around. Grandma and Grandpa Hoy came, Alexia, Katrina and Camden came, Daddy and of course the regular stand bys Mommy, Christopher and Jack. I have to comment that Jack and Christopher behaved AWESOME. They sat perfect on my lap and Katrina tucked in nicely beside me - all three little ones were fantastic!!! hats off!

Alexia is always so sweet to take an interest in Ella. Ella loves her and Katrina both so very much. It meant a lot to us that Alexia makes such an effort especially when she has so much going on in her own life!

Unfortunately because of Christopher's sweet slightly delicate heart this is as close as Christopher can get to scuba diving. Hopefully this excitement will do!

Ella is special...

Ella is pretty excited that God made every little bit of her. She talks about it all the time. She knows she is so special and we have been using what she learns at church to teach her that everyone is different and she is here for a purpose that only she can do and God searched all of heaven and found Ella for John and I. She was the only little girl that would be perfect for us. So she is singing a song about being special. She loves the limelight as I think all of us do so once she had the camera and an audience she made up her own songs. Here are two original songs by Miss Ella Grace...

Ella has so many awesome qualities. She is kind, sweet, sensitive, beautiful, fun and the list goes on and on. Well at church on Sunday they were learning about being Fearfully and Wonderfully Made Psalm 139:14

I thought it was awesome that she wants to be a dream maker but I felt a little sad that she said she was special because she was pretty. Don't get me wrong she is gorgeous but she has all these other amazing qualities that far outway beauty.
One of my favorite things about her is that she loves her brothers and shares with them all of her things. She is great at sharing... She is enjoying teaching them things and now that she knows Jack shares her love for books they are bonding more than ever... Just Watch

Singapore

So John is away in Singapore and we miss him very much. He always says to me the inside of a conference room is the same in every city and every country so travelling isn't that great. Well this time he hasn't mentioned that and I think I know why.... He is staying at the St. Regis which is a luxury collection hotel. He has a huge suite, a butler and the tv in the bathroom is in the mirror. I told him " I just saw that on OPRAH" Totally cool. He deserves it. Now the only thing missing is me and the kids... I bet Jack AKA Silent Assasin would have a blast!!!!

Bear Branch Park

We had a picnic in the park on Sunday afternoon. The kids had so much fun. I am not a big fan of parks right now. I find it difficult to keep my eyes on all 3 at the same time. However Bear Branch is my favorite park since the playground is not divided into big and little kid section. They all keep together. We had fun and lots of food.... Owen was the only dad around but he seemed ok with it, so we enjoyed leaving him to watch the 8 kiddos, so we could gab!!!

Happy Birthday to my mom and my father in law John. My mothers birthday was yesterday and we are glad she is home safe and sound from her trip. John's birthday is today... SO
