BOOST

Sometimes in life you need a boost. Tonight before bed I went downstairs to get Christopher his medicine and hear Christophers boisterous laugh. So I bring the camera up just in case they are dancing or doing something cute. Well here they are getting a boost from Miss Ella Grace. They thought this was a fantastic thing to do. So now with a little they can not only get out of their crib they can get in too... I would say these kids are persistent...

VOICE MAIL

The kids helping us redo the garden. Johns parents were here and we did some yard work. I will have to get a picture of the final result.

Ellas message on the machine was accidentally deleted so I asked her to record a new one. I asked her to say Hi its the Mullins, leave a message, bye and she got a little carried away. Here she is...

HAPPY EASTER

We went to Mercer Arboretum, all the flowers were gorgeous. I had the idea to picnic there but it closed at 5 so we took our picnic to a park. The kids thought that was better anyways!

ELLA HAS A SISTER!

Ella used to say that she wanted a sister. Not so much anymore. She has informed me that she doesn't like babies, never wants any, is never going to be a mommy and has plenty of brothers who are lots of work!!! However, today she got a sister. We were in the pool playing and Christopher refused to wear his cute swim trunks. He goes in the house and brings me Ellas bathing suit which he is so excited to wear. John told me not to take any pictures but here is our little boy in ruffles...

EGG HUNT

Ella has been so excited about Easter. She is learning the true meaning of Easter but she is also fascinated about hunting for candy. So we have been hiding eggs for weeks now, she puts flowers and weeds in them and places them in her fort or playhouse. Well I thought poor sugar, she needs a real egg hunt. Last year we did it, although the weather infringed on our plans a bit, this year we decided to go ahead again. So 17 kids and their moms or dads came to collect. Here are some pictures of the fun. Ella was in heaven so my mission was accomplished. Hopefully her little friends enjoyed it as well. After the hunt and all the candy it was time to burn off some of that sugar!!!

Christopher didn't get into the egg hunting mood at all. Then poor thing, when he was in the bounce house it was WWF and he was at the bottom of the pile. So he stayed close to Daddy where he could snuggle and eat jelly beans...

GINGERBREAD

Gingerbread houses are not only for the Christmas season but Easter too. We have a bunny house. Ella thought it was perfect since it had 3 bunnies. One for Ella, Christopher and Jack. Here my 3 bunnies are decorating there candy home.

VOILA... Finished product not bad for some amateurs. They ate more than they stuck and they can't wait for breakfast tomorrow. I promised them some house for breakfast.

RODEO DAY

COWGIRL ELLA!!!
Texas instills culture in our kids every year during Rodeo Week. Ella was showing us this morning how to rope a bull. You go girl!
I said to Ella, you don't have to go to school today and I couldn't believe it but she actually wanted to go. I was up throughout the night sick and I felt lousy this morning and I knew it was Rodeo day at school. I had promised her that we would come see her and eat lunch with her. I thought my out would be if she didn't go, but she was excited so up I got, dressed, ready to go and glad I did. She is so cute.

TRUCKS AND HEELS

Well having a big sister is fun and Ella is great to share all her things. This morning the boys thought they would borrow some of her dress up. The shoes are their favorite.

PAINTING!

This morning was a typical morning, breakfast and playing. Ella and the boys were in the bathroom, they accompany her everytime just in case she needs a little extra toilet paper... (They can go through a whole roll) I come in to help get hands washed just as Ella is closing the lid, I look down and see a lovely creation. It seems she thought the white lid was a little dull and needed some color. She was cleaning it off when all of a sudden - I thought BLOG! so I grabbed my camera and snapped. You will have to imagine it a bit more colorful since most of it was washed off! I have been out of the blog habit, I'm slipping!
